Travel Lately: Savannah

My husband is THE husband. We had been planning a normal, low-key Valentine’s day (compared to us taking New York City in 24hrs like last year). We even planned for steak. Whoa. Slow. Down. Cassanova. Three days before V-Day, he told me to go buy a new dress. HELLOOO nice restaurant. So I got one (don’t even get me started on trying to find a “sexy” dress that looks like I also sell my body on the side). You know that you may have fashion issues when you decide on an outfit because after the date, you can also wear it to your great aunt’s funeral…I digress.

Hello the most handsome man alive.

Savannah was the PERFECT place to go. We haven’t been out of the house much unless it involves grocery shopping, doctor’s visits and hanging out with the ‘rents. The hotel was beautiful, the spa was incredible, the parks (don’t even get me started on the trees). To top it all off, we received financial aid for chemo on Sunday. BAM. Thank you Lord.
